Minnesota Distributor Acquires Another MN Promo Firm
The Visual Identity Vault, a Fairmount, MN-based branded merchandise business, has acquired 4 the Team, a St. Peter, MN-based company offering promotional products, decorated apparel, awards and more. Financial terms of the deal were not released.

Jay Doyscher, who co-owns the companies with wife Tanya, told Counselor that 4 the Team will continue to go to market under that name. The Visual Identity Vault will keep doing business under its brand as well.
Former 4 the Team owner Bridget Blaido planned to stay on for a few weeks to help with the transition before moving on to a new venture outside the promo industry – namely, operating a bookkeeping and errand-running business for senior citizens. Other staffers from 4 the Team will remain, Doyscher said.
The Visual Identity Vault offers a wide range of products and services, including decorated apparel, signs, banners, hard good promotional products, graphic design, paper printed products and more. Still, the company had been keen to start providing in-house embroidery, which Blaido offered. After connecting with Blaido, the Doyschers sought to buy the business, and a deal was reached.
“It’s a great opportunity to grow by acquisition,” Doyscher told Counselor. “Adding embroidery is very important to helping us grow.”
Doyscher said the deal finalized in June.
