In addition to the Person of the Year announcement at this year’s Counselor Awards ceremony at Morgan Manufacturing in Chicago, Counselor also named winners of 10 other awards. They are: Ralf Oster from PFConcept as International Person of the Year; Shaun Lichtenberger and Chris Sinclair of Brand Blvd (asi/145124) as Distributor Entrepreneurs of the Year; Jason Lucash and Mike Szymczak of Origaudio (asi/75254) as Supplier Entrepreneurs of the Year; Shamini Peter of Axis Promotions (asi/128263) as the Distributor Woman of Distinction; and Cindy Bergler of Express-A-Button (asi/53408) as the Supplier Woman of Distinction.

Counselor also honored Eric Shonebarger, CIO at Hit Promotional Products (asi/61125), with the inaugural Technology Executive of the Year award, and Paul Lage from Gill Studios (asi/56950) with the 2017 Marvin Spike Lifetime Achievement Award. Family Business of the Year awards were handed out to distributor Midwest Promotional Group (asi/270800) and supplier Charles River Apparel (asi/44620), while Philip Koosed of Bamko (asi/131431) was named the Bess Cohn Memorial Humanitarian Award winner.
