Hyman “Hy” Russman, co-founder of Interconcept Inc. (asi/231553) in Saint-Laurent, QC, passed away on August 15 after a brief cancer battle.

Russman started in the industry in the early 1980s with Montreal Sales Promotion, and went on to co-found Interconcept in 1989. He was a proud member of PPPC for almost 25 years.

He is survived by his wife Mary Kupran; sons Mathew (Lana) and Hayden; daughter Zaidie; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services were held at Paperman & Sons in Montreal on August 17; the burial took place at Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery in Montreal. Contributions may be made to the West Island Palliative Care Residence at (514) 693-1718.
