ASI Promocar Visits HDS Marketing

If the promotional products industry ever gave out "Good Sport" awards, Kelly Chiccitt would win one hands down. Kelly, the marketing VP of distributor HDS Marketing (asi/216807) in Pittsburgh, returned from a week's vacation Monday morning to learn she’d "volunteered" to star in the latest episode of Promocar Talk, a livestream interview in the #ASIPromocar that’s part of ASI’s PR campaign to spread positive publicity about the industry (while having a little fun along the way) during a week-long trip to visit member companies in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and New York.

Undeterred, Kelly jumped right in, graciously driving around hilly Pittsburgh in the 5-speed Mazda with the squeaky clutch. Kelly’s a communications ace who entered the promotional products industry in 1988 and has worked at HDS’s 35,000-square-foot facility in Pittsburgh for the last 14 years. "We're growing," she says of the award-winning company, which has 80 employees at locations in Pittsburgh, Columbus, Cleveland, Phoenix and Kansas City. What makes HDS so successful? "Nothing beats face-to-face contact for connecting with clients," says Kelly, who also added her name to the hundreds who've signed the Promocar over the last 3 years. Thanks, Kelly!
