The designer duo behind The Blonds created a hot pink fantasy for the runway. Phillipe and David Blond evoked the spirit of Marilyn Monroe, Quentin Tarantino and an haute burlesque vision of Alice in Wonderland.

In collaboration with Preciosa crystal components, the Blonds created provocative corset-based looks that sparkled along the catwalk. There was no restraint in the use of iridescent, over-sized jewels that caught the light. The designers clustered and layered materials for maximum dramatic effect in this collection.

The Blonds are known for outfitting some of the most iconic pop stars of this generation. The appeal of their runway looks is not for those used to shopping off the rack. The craftsmanship of their garments and extravagance of the materials make any wearer look like a diva.

Tip: To create a one-of-a-kind showstopper, layer lots of sparkling materials in tonal shades. Then add additional accents of over-sized jewels in a contrast finish or one that picks up the light well. Use an irregular pattern of embroidery to showcase the hand-embellished nature of the work.
