If you get a “hot market” job, you’ve landed a large order that must be turned quickly. Championship games are a great example. It’s a task that PXP Solutions has the equipment to accomplish. PXP, for example, printed and supplied thousands of shirts for the NCAA Final Four both this year and last. What did it take to handle such a job? “At the moment, we have five presses,” says Bruce Jolesch, president of PXP Solutions. “All are M&R 12-color, 10-color and eight-color, and two six-color.” He recommends blocking out press time for the order, along with overtime for staff. Another tip: Invest in a private-labeling machine such as Inkcups for logos that go inside the collar.
