When a health club was looking for a giveaway for a campaign designed to attract new members, Atteff International (asi/37455) had just the item. The company had launched its new Universal Sport Armband with Smartphone Pouch (EP0592) in mid-2014.

“It’s been well-accepted since it was introduced,” says Kevin Xiao, vice president. “Smartphones are a necessity for most people nowadays, such that they don’t go anywhere without them. This armband phone pouch conveniently carries a device while the wearer works out, jogs, runs or performs other outdoor activities.” Atteff International offers the armband in three sizes to accommodate different devices.

The supplier’s distributor client showed the health club a sample of the armband, and the end-user made the decision to use it in the campaign. “They wanted to appeal to new members,” says Xiao, “and this giveaway brought more attention and added value to the brand.” Atteff International sold 300 pieces for this campaign, with a sales amount at approximately $1,500.

“There are so many different kinds of smartphones out there,” says Xiao, “so an accessory product that can accommodate most of them is a solid choice. A product of good quality with appealing colors and good functionality is always a plus.”
